Donald (DJ) Klem is a US Army (Retired) Special Operations / Tactical Air Controller Combat Veteran with combat tours in Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Panama, Kosovo, Somalia, Iraq and Afghanistan with a proven record of managing and supporting high-level technical and tactical operations worldwide for both the Department of Defense and U.S. Department of State.

 

His experience is exemplified with a combined 25+ years of increased responsibility in Program Management, Project Management, Operational Management, Security Management and Operations to include:  US Embassy Level Executive Protection, Ambassadorial (Agent-in-charge), Regional Security Office (RSO) Operations Chief, Direct Support to Pentagon supporting the Joint Chiefs of Staff, International Risk Management Security Consultant supporting the International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Program as well as Gas and Oil / Energy Expansion substation security for multiple venues in the Middle East, Tactical Action Operations Officer for Anti-Drug Task Force, Key West, Florida.

 

Mr. Klem’s experience includes: a combined 11 years working in the Middle East for US Government clients; specifically, Agent-in-charge (AIC) for Ambassador Margaret Scobey of the Iraq Reconstruction Management Office (IRMO) of the US Department of State, US Embassy, Baghdad, Iraq

 

Public Affairs Community Relations Officer 2001/2002 supporting CODEL/VIP visits, including President George W. and First Lady Barbara Bush.

 

A combined 7 years as a Signal Intelligence, Human Intelligence and All-Source Open-Source Intelligence Analyst throughout the Middle East Area of Operation.

 

A combined 5 years as the In-Country Manager, Senior Technical Field Engineer for the Personnel and Asset Protection Program (Satellite Surveillance).
