Matthew Little Sun is a combat veteran who served Honorably in the US Army for twenty-six years including two tours in Iraq. Matthew has over 35 years in the industry comprised of Military time conducting Investigations, Criminal Justice operations, Force Protection, High Threat Security during combat operations, Private Security companies domestically, School Security and Threat Management.
Matthew’s area of expertise are Threat Management, Executive Protection, High Threat Protection, Intelligence Analysis, Threat Assessment, School Security, Judgement-based Use of Force Training, Consulting and Legal Operations. Matthew is a published author for security, safety and crime within the cannabis industry in the California market.
Matthew’s assignments included Light Infantry, Mechanized Infantry and Special Forces units, where he was commended by the Commander, Special Forces Command as the Non-commissioned Officer of the Year for his assigned unit. Matthew served as Force Protection and Detainee Operations Non-commissioned Officer for Task Force Baghdad where he supervised Security missions for the Ministry of Justice operating out of the US Embassy Baghdad, Iraq. Matthew was tasked with conducting Intelligence Analysis for events of Combat Homicide committed by insurgent terrorists in Area of Operations Baghdad, where he developed a program for merging metrics, criminal intelligence and military intelligence analysis for the Ministry of Justice to seek capital punishment for anyone linked to the combat homicide of Coalition personnel.
