A former United States Marine, federal agent and founding member of the Department of Homeland Security, Mr. Martinez served in ever increasing capacities as in the US Border Patrol, INS Detention & Deportation, Quick Response Team/Fugitive Operations, Federal Air Marshal and as a Special Agent for the US Customs Service/ICE. As a Special Agent for Customs/ICE, Mr. Martinez was primarily assigned to narcotics smuggling but was also assigned to the DEA Task Force, the DEA Airport Interdiction Task Force, the Federal Financial Crimes Task Force and has also worked on counter-terrorism, cyber crimes, human trafficking, wiretap, and intellectual property investigations.

 

Mr. Martinez went on to provide supply chain security consulting services both domestically and internationally for companies to seek entry into the Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism and get into compliance with the Maritime Transportation Security Act. This included training and fielding highly trained Anti-Smuggling/Terrorism Officers aboard vessels traveling globally.

 

Through associations with other professionals in the protection industry Mr. Martinez has become deeply involved in workplace violence and executive protection for various companies such as Pinkerton and was trained as a Protection Detail Specialist by Select International.

 

Mr. Martinez has conducted multiple undercover operations for corporations to disrupt drug trafficking and theft rings within their operations, managed security programs for two cruise lines, an office building, multiple large events with tens of thousands of patrons, conducted a myriad of complex private investigations and served as a lead protection agent for executives, athletes and media moguls.

 

Throughout his career Mr. Martinez has striven to strengthen and secure our communities, pass on the knowledge and experience he's gained through the years, and ensure businesses can continue to operate without disruption.
